SingleStore’s No-Code Breakthrough Slashes Data Migration Time

SingleStore, the database built for real-time AI and analytics, just launched SingleStore Flow. It’s a no-code tool that makes data migration and Change Data Capture (CDC) easier.

Users can now migrate data with a simple point-and-click interface. No need for manual scripting or constant monitoring. This boosts productivity, cuts costs, and reduces downtime linked to data migration and CDC setup.

SingleStore Flow works smoothly with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. It has two key components:

  • SingleStore Ingest: Handles initial migration for tables up to 10GB and manages ongoing CDC.

  • SingleStore XL Ingest: Manages large tables by breaking them into segments for smooth, timely transfers.

“AI and real-time analytics need data to move fast,” said Eric Hanson, Director of Product Management at SingleStore. “SingleStore Flow makes it easy to use data for AI and real-time applications. It helps businesses shift from legacy databases to modern, scalable platforms.”

SingleStore Flow is part of SingleConnect, the company’s broader data integration suite. It includes new tools from BryteFlow, an Australian platform SingleStore acquired in late 2024.

Key Features of SingleStore Flow:

  • Log-Based CDC: Captures and syncs data changes in real time.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Allows real-time or scheduled transfers based on needs.

  • Automated Schema Creation: Builds target database tables automatically, simplifying migration.
